The open level is totally beginner friendly and accessible to all levels. See you there!

Do the beginner dance to get your journey started, or join the open-level class to meet yourself where you’re at! $20 for the class or get 5 for $90 and save 10%! Keep it rollin’!

Last week we celebrated valentines day with some partner skating basics! All the skaters did so good at controlling their speed and stride, and communicating with their skate partners! I can’t wait to do more class like this!!

Novice Dance Four-Week Progressive starting on Friday, Jan 10th 6:30-7:30 at Planet Ice in Coquitlam. Open-level Dance starting on Friday Jan 3rd from 7:30-8:30 at Planet Ice in Coquitlam. New classes starting in 2025!! Wednesday will continue to be hosted in Burnaby at Scotia barn, and Friday will be held in Coquitlam at Planet ice.

I’m excited to announce I’ll be hosting more classes in the new year including the introduction of a progressive novice roller dance class! This class will be a four-week progressive course designed to introduce skaters who are comfortable on skates to roller-dance! We’ll be exploring moves, technique, groove and musicality. I can’t wait! I’m also pleased to continue a weekly open-level and intermediate level class. We’ll continue to explore new moves, variations, combos and choreo’s. In open-level, we start with the basics and foundations and work our way up so there’s something for everyone. In intermediate, we’ll explore different variations, harder progressions and challenge ourselves with adding groove and refining our flow. I can’t wait to get skating with all of you!

For the other two classes, you’re welcome to register week-to-week or for multiple in advanced. Alternatively, I am now offering the option to buy class credits too. $20 each or buy five for $90 and save 10%! It will make registration quick and easy and get your spot confirmed more quickly!

We had our first open-level class on Friday where we worked on pivots and applied them to jersey circle style skating! The space was awesome with a wooden floor and large mirrors with plenty of space to skate and vibe. Join me on December 6th if you want to upgrade your skills in this awesome studio!

Meet the coach!

Hey skaters! My name’s Jason, or Jzone! I’ve been skating almost three years now where I’ve been working hard to learn and understand the fundamentals and mechanics of skating. I’ve put in a lot of work to know exactly how to break down moves so it’s easy for you to know exactly what to work on. I believe the next step in my skate journey is helping you take your next step! Whether that’s teaching you new skills, refining or upgrading old ones, helping you improve your flow and groove, or just having a good time trying new combos and choreos! I strive to help you get the most out of a session however that looks for you!

I’m starting small, with just one open-level dance class a week on Fridays, but have plans to expand over the year with multiple levels and classes! I’m also open to booking private sessions on request where I can help you work on exactly whatever you want to do!
